Gervarrius Owens is a free safety who entered the NFL as a seventh-round pick (254th overall) by the Giants in 2023. The 6'0", 200-pound defensive back played four seasons at Houston, recording 208 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, four interceptions, and 22 passes defended across 46 games, earning All-American Athletic Conference honors twice. Owens has appeared in five career games with New York and Tennessee and enters his second season with Chicago in 2026 after spending 2025 between the Vikings and Bears practice squads.
