Jones Thomas is a 6'2", 202-pound safety from Fort Collins, Colorado, who attended Poudre High School. A redshirt junior, Thomas returns for the Wyoming Cowboys in 2026. During the 2025 season, he recorded 46 total tackles, including 35 solo stops, while adding one tackle for loss and one defensive touchdown. Thomas also intercepted two passes for 50 yards, including one returned for a touchdown, and broke up four passes.
