Nate Palmer is a running back from Decatur, Texas who transferred to Wisconsin as a redshirt sophomore. At TCU, he appeared in 10 games during the 2025 season, starting against Colorado, and recorded seven carries for 61 yards against North Carolina, eight carries for 33 yards in the Cincinnati win, and six carries for 27 yards versus Abilene Christian. As a freshman in 2024, Palmer played in two games and had 10 carries for 30 yards in the New Mexico Bowl victory over Louisiana, where he ranked as TCU's third-leading rusher. In high school, he accumulated 4,910 career rushing yards, 79 receptions, and 71 touchdowns.
