LaTrevion Thompson is a 6'2", 237-pound linebacker who transferred to Western Kentucky from Southeast Missouri State. Over four seasons at SEMO, Thompson appeared in 35 games, totaling 71 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, three pass breakups and one forced fumble. In 2025, his final year with the Redhawks, he recorded 44 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, three passes defended and one forced fumble. Thompson prepped at Kennett High School in Missouri, where he won the Derland Moore Award and SEMO Ball Defensive Player of the Year honors. He earned First Team All-SEMO Conference and Second Team Class 3 All-State selections.
