Karsten Upchurch is a right tackle from Starkville, Mississippi, standing 6'5" and weighing 295 pounds. He began his college career at East Mississippi Community College, where he earned 2023 All-MACCC First Team honors and helped the Lions to the national championship game. Upchurch transferred to Mississippi State for the 2024 season but did not appear in games. He joined Western Kentucky in 2025, appearing in all 13 games with 10 starts at right tackle. The Hilltoppers posted the best scoring offense in Conference USA that season at 29.54 points per game and won the New Orleans Bowl.
