Rickey Giles is a safety for West Virginia, standing 5'10" and weighing 195 pounds. The Oak Cliff, Texas native played for South Oak Cliff High School under coach Clifton Todd. As a senior, Giles recorded 44 tackles and four interceptions while his defense posted eight shutouts and allowed 10.1 points per game. South Oak Cliff finished 15-1 and won the Texas UIL 5A D2 state championship with a 7-0 district record. In his junior season, Giles had 51 tackles, one sack, two interceptions and a forced fumble as South Oak Cliff went 13-3. Giles signed with West Virginia as a three-star prospect in the 2026 class.
