Raymond Kovalesky is an offensive lineman for the West Virginia Mountaineers standing 6'3" and weighing 280 pounds. From Wheeling, WV, Kovalesky attended The Linsly School, where he played fullback and linebacker under coach BJ Pepew and served as a two-time team captain. He earned first team All-OVAC honors and recorded 138 tackles as a senior, finishing his high school career with 356 tackles, 25 tackles for loss, and three interceptions. Kovalesky redshirted during his 2024 freshman season after moving from linebacker to the offensive line. Now a redshirt sophomore, he is a returning member of the roster and appears on the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll while majoring in business.
