Peter Notaro is a placekicker for the West Virginia Mountaineers who transferred in January 2026 after one season at Alabama. At North Allegheny High School in Wexford, Pennsylvania, he earned two Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League championships and two first-team all-conference honors under coach Art Walker. He connected on 17 field goals during his final two prep seasons, including a school-record 53-yarder as a senior. Notaro received five-star status from Kohl's Kicking and was ranked the No. 4 kicking prospect nationally, plus a three-star designation and No. 8 kicker by national outlets. During his 2025 freshman year with Alabama under coach Kalen DeBoer, he appeared in two games, making all five PAT attempts and kicking off five times for 317 yards with two touchbacks.
