Bio

Darius Morant is a 6'0", 224-pound running back from Hempstead, NY, who attended St. Anthony's High School. At St. Anthony's, he rushed for 924 yards and 10 touchdowns as a senior and 584 yards and seven touchdowns as a junior, earning all-league recognition and team MVP honors as a freshman. He played prep school football at Milford Academy, where he accumulated 579 yards and four touchdowns. Morant joined Temple as a walk-on in summer 2024 and redshirted his freshman year. He enrolled at West Virginia in January 2026 and added depth at running back for the Mountaineers as a redshirt freshman in 2025, earning offensive practice player of the week recognition following the Oklahoma game.
