Corey McIntyre Jr. is a 6'3", 280-pound defensive tackle from Port St. Lucie, Florida, who played at Treasure Coast High School under coach Irvin Jones. Son of former Mountaineer Corey McIntyre Sr., McIntyre Jr. redshirted in 2023 after appearing in four games and earning Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team honors. He did not see action in 2024 but returned to the field in 2025, appearing in nine games while recording 13 total tackles, four solo stops, 0.5 sacks, and 1.5 tackles for loss across 184 snaps. McIntyre Jr. currently maintains returning status for the Mountaineers.
