Bio

Chris Talley is a running back from Memphis, Tennessee who plays for West Virginia. At Whitehaven High School under coach Rodney Saulsberry, he earned Class AAA First Team All-State honors in 2024 and Class AA in 2023. As a junior, Talley accumulated 1,600 all-purpose yards and 18 touchdowns while recording five games with at least 100 rushing yards. Through his first two high school seasons, he rushed for 1,795 yards and 20 touchdowns. His senior year, Whitehaven finished 7-5 and reached the third round of the Tennessee Division I state playoffs. Talley also competed in track, winning two state titles in the 110-meter hurdles and placing second in the 300-meter hurdles. He joined the Mountaineers as a true freshman in 2026.
