Andrew Powdrell is a nickel back from The Woodlands, Texas, who played college football at Montana State and UNLV before joining West Virginia. At Montana State, Powdrell appeared in 16 games with 14 starts in 2024, recording 41 tackles and earning All-Big Sky Second-Team honors as the Rebels reached the FCS National Championship game. He transferred to UNLV for the 2025 season, where he started all 14 games at cornerback under coach Dan Mullen. Powdrell finished fourth on the team with 63 tackles, including 41 solo stops, and added 5 pass breakups and 1.5 tackles for loss as UNLV won 10 games and advanced to the Mountain West Championship game.
