Alex Adebayo is a safety for the West Virginia Mountaineers. The 6'1", 201-pound native of Elkridge, Maryland attended Howard High School, where he earned three letters and served as team captain his senior year. During his final high school season in 2023, he accumulated 52 tackles, two interceptions, 12 pass breakups, and one fumble recovery. Adebayo also competed in track and field and basketball, helping lead the track team to county and regional championships in 2023. He enrolled at West Virginia in January 2026 and appeared in one game against UTEP during his redshirt freshman year at Delaware before transferring to WVU.
