Trey Cooley is a running back from Raleigh, North Carolina, who prepped at Knightsdale High School before beginning his college career at Louisville in 2021. As a freshman, he appeared in all 12 games, recording 86 carries for 431 rushing yards and a touchdown, adding 12 receptions for 173 yards and two scores. He played in seven games as a sophomore at Louisville in 2022, rushing for 278 yards and two touchdowns on 59 carries. After transferring to Georgia Tech, Cooley appeared in 12 of 13 games in 2023, accumulating 274 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 64 carries while catching 11 passes for 112 yards and a score. A 2024 injury limited him to three games at Georgia Tech. He holds a degree in history, technology and society from Georgia Tech and joined Washington as a transfer after a season-ending injury at Troy in 2025.
