Jacob Lane, a 6'5", 256-pound left defensive end from Puyallup, Washington, joined Washington as a three-star recruit in 2023. As a true freshman, he appeared in nine games including three postseason contests. In 2024, Lane played in 12 of 13 games while earning All-Big Ten academic honors. During the 2025 season, he started all 13 games and recorded 40 total tackles, 8.0 tackles for loss, and 4.0 sacks while adding two pass breakups.
