Gavin Day is a safety from Las Vegas, Nevada who attends Washington. At Faith Lutheran HS, he was a three-year starter under coach Jay Staggs. As a sophomore in 2023, he recorded 63 tackles while the team won the 5A Division II South championship and reached the 5A state championship game. Day accumulated 110 tackles and 17 tackles for a loss as a junior, helping lead the Crusaders to an 11-1 record, a divisional title, and another state championship appearance. In 2025, his senior season, he posted 101 total tackles including 12 for a loss, along with two interceptions, eight pass break-ups and three forced fumbles, earning team defensive MVP and first-team all-league honors despite a 6-8 overall record. Ranked as a four-star prospect, Day joins the Huskies as a true freshman.
