Emmanuel Karnley is a left cornerback who transferred to Washington after the 2025 season at Virginia. The 6'0", 188-pound defender appeared in all 14 games for the Cavaliers, starting 10, as Virginia compiled an 11-3 record, reached the ACC Championship Game, and defeated Missouri in the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl. Karnley totaled 26 tackles, broke up eight passes, recorded two tackles for loss, and intercepted one pass. He previously spent two seasons at Arizona, appearing in one game in 2023 before redshirting and playing in 10 games with six starts in 2024, when he posted 16 tackles and five pass break-ups. Karnley hails from Las Lomas High School in Walnut Creek, California.
