Nick Bakken is a 6'5", 307-pound right guard from Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin. He played at South Dakota State as a redshirt freshman in 2024, appearing in six games. Bakken transferred to Washington State and enrolled in January 2025, participating in spring practice before the season. He appeared in one game for the Cougars, handling a field goal and PAT against North Texas, but missed the remainder of 2025 with injury. At Whitefish Bay High School, he was a senior all-conference and all-region selection on a team that averaged 6.4 yards per rushing attempt and permitted no sacks across nearly 120 dropbacks in 2023.
