Jaylin Caldwell is a 6'6", 336-pound right tackle from Chicago who prepped at Phillips Academy, where he earned all-conference honors as a senior, sophomore, and junior. He spent three seasons at Grand Valley State University, redshirting in 2022 before earning his first varsity letter in 2023 with an offense that ranked among national leaders in scoring (43.8 ppg) and total offense (429.2 ppg). In 2024, he played in all 13 games as part of an offensive line that averaged 387.3 yards per game while helping the Lakers to an 11-2 record. Caldwell transferred to Washington State for the 2025 season and appeared in two games as a starter at right tackle against No. 4 Ole Miss and No. 18 Virginia, recording zero pressures allowed in nine pass snaps versus Virginia before sustaining an injury.
