Gage Jones is a 6'1", 216-pound linebacker from Eagle, Idaho, where he was a two-time All-State selection at Eagle High School. As a senior in 2021, he earned 5A Defensive Player of the Year honors and Idaho Academic All-American recognition. Jones appeared in two games during his freshman year in 2024, including his collegiate debut in a win over Utah State and a Holiday Bowl appearance against No. 21 Syracuse. In 2025, his redshirt sophomore season, he played in all 13 games primarily on special teams, recording 10 total tackles with three on special teams, tied for the team lead in that category. He also contributed 0.5 tackles for loss.
