Elmo Wartson is a 6'3", 174-pound left cornerback from Modesto, California, who attended Modesto Christian High School before joining Modesto Junior College. During his redshirt freshman year in 2024, Wartson appeared in six games and recorded 14 tackles with 2.5 tackles for loss and two pass breakups. In 2025, his redshirt sophomore season, he played in 10 games, accumulating 36 tackles, four tackles for loss, and six pass breakups as Modesto JC posted a 9-3 record and finished 5-0 in conference play. Wartson transferred to Washington State and is currently enrolled as a redshirt junior for the 2026 class.
