Will Loerzel is a tight end from New Orleans who attended Isadore Newman High School, where he earned All-State honors and also played basketball. A three-star recruit, Loerzel transferred to Wake Forest after redshirting during the 2024 season at South Alabama. In 2025, he appeared in the final six games for the Demon Deacons, making his collegiate debut against Florida State on November 1.
