Sydir Mitchell is a 6'6", 355-pound nose tackle from Paterson, New Jersey, who attended Bergen Catholic High School. A four-star prospect in the 2023 class, Mitchell appeared in four games during his true freshman season at Texas in 2023, recording three tackles. He played in five games during his redshirt freshman year at Texas in 2024, posting four tackles including one for a loss. Mitchell transferred to LSU for the 2025 season, where he appeared in five games and registered four tackles, including one for a loss in a victory over Kentucky. He now joins Wake Forest as a transfer.
