Ryan Berger is a 6'4", 318-pound right guard from Portland, Oregon who attended Liberty High School, where he earned Conference Offensive Lineman of the Year honors and All-State Honorable Mention recognition. He redshirted his freshman season at Oregon State in 2023 and did not play in 2024 as a redshirt freshman. In 2025 as a redshirt sophomore, Berger appeared in 10 games with seven starts, including five consecutive starts against Lafayette, Washington State, Sam Houston, Tulsa, and Washington State to close the season.
