Gannon Jones is a true freshman quarterback at Wake Forest from Cary, North Carolina, where he attended Cardinal Gibbons High School. A three-star recruit ranked 54th in North Carolina, Jones was a three-year varsity starter for the Crusaders and led them to a 28-6 record with two 4A state final four appearances. In 2+ years of starting, he accumulated 6,250 passing yards, 69 passing touchdowns, and 11 interceptions before his senior season was cut short by injury.
