Braylon Johnson is a free safety from Richmond, Virginia, who transferred to Wake Forest from Virginia Tech. At Highland Springs High School, he earned All-State honors as a senior and helped the Springers to a 15-0 record and VHSL Class 5 State Championship. Johnson appeared in 12 games during his 2023 freshman season with the Hokies and recorded seven tackles. In 2024, he appeared in four games as a redshirt sophomore. Now a redshirt junior at Wake Forest, Johnson played all 12 games in 2025, recording 41 total tackles, five pass breakups, 1.5 tackles for loss, and 0.5 sacks across 647 snaps.
