Tim Hamann is a true freshman kicker for Virginia wearing No. 14. Born in Buffalo, New York, he spent his early childhood there before relocating to Germany. He attended St. Anne's-Belfield School in Charlottesville, where he earned First Team All-State honors as a senior in 2025. That year, he made field goals from 53, 45 (twice), and converted 35 of 35 extra point attempts while recording 60 touchbacks on 65 kickoff tries. His 53-yard field goal against Fork Union Military Academy stands as his career long. Hamann also earned Second Team All-State recognition in both 2023 and 2024. At 5'11" and 180 pounds, he plans to major in Psychology at UVA.
