Nnanna Anyanwu is a 6'5", 251-pound linebacker from Hampton, GA who transferred to Virginia after four seasons at UTSA. He began his college career at Coffeyville Community College, where he recorded 21 tackles, seven tackles for loss and two sacks as a freshman in 2021, then posted 25 tackles, seven tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks in 2022. At UTSA, he appeared in 11 games during the 2025 season with two starts, accumulating 23 tackles, seven tackles for loss and five sacks. In his first career start against Colorado State on 9/21, he logged five tackles, four tackles for loss and three sacks in a 17-16 victory.
