Connor Cox is a 6'6" tight end from Jacksonville, Florida, who graduated from The Bolles School in December 2022. He enrolled at South Carolina as a true freshman in January 2023, appearing in five games that season. As a sophomore in 2024, Cox saw action in four games and recorded his first collegiate catch and touchdown—a nine-yard score against Akron on September 21. He transferred to North Carolina for the 2025 season, where he played in nine games with three starts (Richmond, Clemson, NC State) and caught five passes for 21 yards. Cox recorded two receptions for 11 yards against Clemson on October 4 and matched his season best with two catches at Cal on October 17. According to Pro Football Focus, he earned his highest offensive grade of 88.0 and highest run block grade of 84.4 against Virginia on October 25 after recording 22 snaps.
