Sherrod Henderson is a 6'2", 242-pound defensive lineman from Rocky Point, NC, who attended Heide Trask High School. A three-star prospect rated by recruiting services, he registered 80 tackles with 11 sacks as a senior, adding over 1,000 rushing yards and nine touchdowns on offense. As a junior, he posted 75 tackles including 15 TFLs and 12 sacks while recording 1,250 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns. Selected to the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas in 2024, he was a two-time team captain and MVP. Henderson joined Virginia Tech as a redshirt freshman but missed the entire 2025 season due to injury.
