Mathieu Lamah is a 6'3", 231-pound linebacker from Bristow, Virginia, who plays for Virginia Tech. At Patriot High School, Lamah served as a two-year captain and three-year letterwinner. As a senior, he recorded 101 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, three sacks, and two forced fumbles, earning Cedar Run District Defensive Player of the Year honors. In his junior season, he tallied 137 tackles, including 100 solo tackles, two sacks, and three forced fumbles. Lamah was a three-star recruit rated by recruiting services, and ranked as the nation's No. 11 overall inside linebacker by national outlets. He joined the Hokies as a true freshman in the 2026 class and plans to study real estate.
