Brennan Johnson is a safety for Virginia Tech. The Richmond native and Highland Springs product was a four-year letterman and three-time team captain, earning Region 6A Defensive Player of the Year honors twice (2023, 2024). As a senior, he posted 113 tackles, five sacks, 11 tackles for loss, two interceptions, and four forced fumbles. Johnson appeared in eight games during the 2025 season, recording 17 total tackles with 4 solo stops and forcing a fumble against Cal on October 24. He is a returning sophomore and the son of former Virginia Tech football player Loren Johnson.
