Walter Taylor is a 6'7", 235-pound tight end from Jackson, Alabama who transferred to Vanderbilt from Ball State. A three-star recruit in the 2022 class, Taylor was previously rated as a top-20 quarterback prospect. He redshirted his freshman year in 2022 and appeared in five games as a sophomore in 2023, earning SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll recognition. During his sophomore season, he recorded a 2-yard rushing touchdown at Ole Miss.
