Tate Hamby is a 6'2", 208-pound linebacker for the Vanderbilt Commodores. A three-star recruit from Ouachita Christian School in West Monroe, Louisiana, Hamby was ranked 959th nationally in the 2024 class. He redshirted as a freshman in 2024 before appearing in all 13 games during his sophomore season in 2025, recording one total tackle including a stop in the ReliaQuest Bowl against Iowa.
