Kaden Schickel is a long snapper from Fredericksburg, Virginia who played at Massaponax High School as a three-year varsity letterwinner. He began his college career at James Madison, redshirting in 2021 before appearing in all 13 games as the Dukes' long snapper in 2023, recording two tackles and recovering one fumble. Schickel transferred to Michigan State prior to 2024, where he appeared in eight games as the starting long snapper, handling snaps on 25 punts, 17 field goal attempts and 15 PATs before suffering a season-ending injury. He now competes for Vanderbilt as a graduate transfer.
