Justin Dewers is a placekicker for Vanderbilt who hails from Plano, Texas, where he attended Prestonwood Christian Academy. In his senior year of high school, Dewers converted 8 of 10 field-goal attempts and made 70 of 71 extra-point tries. He also averaged 56.1 yards on 92 kickoffs with 55 touchbacks and punted for a 36.2-yard average.
