Joseph McVay is a 6'1" wide receiver from Earle, Arkansas, where he was a three-star recruit ranked 494th nationally in the 2024 class. At Earle High School, McVay caught 69 passes for 1,573 yards and 22 touchdowns as a junior while also playing defensive snaps. He made his college debut as a freshman in 2024, appearing in four regular season games and the Birmingham Bowl victory over Georgia Tech. McVay scored his first career touchdown on a 65-yard reception from Diego Pavia against Missouri. In 2025, the redshirt sophomore has recorded 2 receptions for 21 yards and 1 touchdown, with a long reception of 16 yards.
