Issa Ouattara is a 6'7", 315-pound defensive lineman from Cologne, Germany, who plays for the Vanderbilt Commodores. An international prospect who began playing football in 2019, Ouattara appeared in nine games as a sophomore in 2023, recording 11 tackles and 1.5 for loss. In 2024, he played all 13 games with 10 starts, posting 1.5 sacks in the Birmingham Bowl win over Georgia Tech and a career-best five tackles against LSU. He also recovered a fumble in a victory over No. 1 Alabama. Named a team captain as a senior in 2025, Ouattara missed most of the season due to injury but made one appearance against Virginia Tech with one tackle.
