Gunner Givens is a 6'5", 325-pound guard from Covington, VA who attended Lord Botetourt High School. A four-star prospect ranked No. 7 from Virginia in his high school class, Givens played multiple positions at the prep level, earning first-team All-Blue Ridge honors at tight end and defensive end as a senior when Lord Botetourt went 8-4 overall with a 5-0 conference record. He spent three years at Virginia Tech (2022–24), appearing in five games before transferring to Vanderbilt.
