Tristan Escobar is a safety for the UTSA Roadrunners. The San Antonio native and Brennan High School product earned first-team all-district and all-area honors at defensive back under head coach Stephen Basore. As a senior in 2024, Escobar recorded 109 total tackles, 13 tackles for loss, one sack, four interceptions (one returned for a touchdown), five pass breakups, and one fumble recovery. He also competed in track and field. Escobar appeared in the 57-20 First Responder Bowl victory over FIU in 2025.
