Luke Lapeze is a center for the UTSA Roadrunners standing 6'5" and weighing 320 pounds. A native of Humble, Texas, Lapeze lettered four years at Summer Creek High School, where he started on the offensive line his final three seasons and earned second-team All-District 22-6A honors as a junior. At UTSA, he appeared in one game during his redshirt season in 2021. In 2022, Lapeze played in all 14 contests and did not allow a sack or hit on the quarterback in 86 pass-blocking snaps. During the 2023 season, he earned 11 starts at center while appearing in 12 games, committing four penalties across 815 snaps and allowing one sack and three hits in 438 pass-blocking attempts. He sat out 2024 due to injury but returned in 2025, playing in nine contests with one start, logging 146 offensive snaps and drawing one penalty while allowing no sacks or hits in 73 pass-blocking snaps.
