Darrell Jones is a right guard for UTSA, standing 6'4" and weighing 340 pounds. A transfer from Bowie State, where he appeared in 16 career games over two seasons, Jones is a Baltimore native who lettered at Forest Park High School as both an offensive and defensive lineman. In 2025, he played in 12 games with 11 starts, logging 614 snaps while incurring six penalties. According to Pro Football Focus, he allowed one sack and no hits on the quarterback across 356 pass-blocking snaps. The offense accumulated 5,444 yards with his help, and UTSA exceeded 500 yards twice—523 yards in a 48-26 win over Tulane and 521 in a 28-7 victory at Charlotte. He earned analytics services Group of 6 Team of the Week honors after the Temple game.
