Tyler Roberts is a 6'8", 314-pound offensive lineman for UTEP, wearing number 73. A redshirt freshman in 2026, Roberts hails from Argyle, Texas, where he played for Argyle High School. During his freshman season in 2025, he appeared in three games with one start at right tackle against LA Tech. In high school, Roberts blocked for an offense that produced 2,581 rushing yards on 479 carries with 41 touchdowns, while quarterbacks added 2,865 passing yards and 26 touchdowns. The Eagles went 12-1 overall, finished 8-0 in district play, and reached the UIL Conference 5A D2 quarterfinals.
