Shakaun Bowser is a 6'5", 255-pound senior defensive end for the UTEP Miners from Mesa, Arizona. A three-star recruit in the 2022 class, Bowser spent three seasons at Garden City CC before joining UTEP. In 2025, his junior year, he appeared in 11 games with four starts, recording 23 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, one fumble recovery, and one quarterback hurry. He posted season-high five tackles with a fumble recovery and a hurry against New Mexico State, and registered sacks against UT Martin and Missouri State. Bowser enters the 2026 season as a returning starter on the defensive line.
