Diego De La Cruz is a 6'4", 300-pound offensive lineman from Monterrey, Mexico who attends UTEP. He played high school football at St. Joseph's Brownsville, where his line work contributed to the Bloodhounds posting a 10-2 record, going 3-0 in district play, and earning a playoff berth. That unit blocked for 3,332 rushing yards on 350 carries and 52 rushing touchdowns. De La Cruz was selected first team All-District. As a redshirt freshman in 2026, he returns to the Miners roster after appearing in one game during his 2025 freshman campaign against Delaware.
