CJ Simon is a redshirt freshman wide receiver for UTEP from Tuttle, Oklahoma. At Tuttle High School, he played three varsity seasons and accumulated 2,606 yards on 172 receptions with 33 touchdowns across 32 games. During his senior year, Simon recorded 876 yards and 11 touchdowns on 54 catches in 12 games, including five contests with 100+ receiving yards. In his 2025 freshman campaign, he appeared in two games and returned a kickoff for 23 yards against Delaware.
