Chad Warner is a redshirt freshman quarterback for UTEP, standing 6'2" and weighing 195 pounds. Warner was a three-star recruit from Cibolo, Texas, where he attended Cibolo Steele High School. During his senior season, he completed 181 of 231 passes for 3,311 yards with 43 touchdown passes and one interception across 13 games, leading Cibolo Steele to an 11-2 record and a deep playoff run. He had multiple standout performances, including 385 yards and five touchdowns against Reagan, 294 yards and five scores versus Johnson, and 258 yards with five touchdowns against Alexander. Warner saw scout team action in 2025 and returns as a redshirt freshman.
