Tommy Nelson is a safety for the Utah Utes who stands 6'3" and weighs 193 pounds. A native of Salt Lake City, Utah, Nelson attended Olympus HS, where he lettered in football for four years and earned second-team all-state honors. He finished his high school career as Olympus HS's all-time leader in receiving touchdowns. Nelson, a sophomore majoring in Biology, was on the active roster during the 2025 season but did not appear in games. He returns as a member of the Utes' roster.
