Rock Caldwell is a 6'3" nickelback from Ypsilanti, Michigan, who attended Belleville HS as a four-star recruit and No. 13-ranked player in his state. He began his college career at Louisville, redshirting in 2022, then appeared in five games for Miami (Ohio) in 2023 with six tackles and one pass breakup. Caldwell spent 2024 at Garden City CC in Kansas, where he played all 11 games and recorded 32 tackles, 2.0 TFLs, 1.0 sack, seven pass breakups, and six interceptions, including a 29-yard pick-six. In 2025, his first season at Utah, he played in 12 games on defense and special teams, posting nine tackles, 1.0 TFL, one pass breakup, and one interception in the Las Vegas Bowl victory over Nebraska.
