Ricky Johnson is a 6'2" wide receiver from Warner Robins, Georgia, who transferred to Utah after two seasons at Mississippi State. At Houston County High School, he recorded 118 career receptions for 2,053 yards and 27 touchdowns, ranking third in school history for receiving yards. During his senior year, he had 65 receptions for 1,213 yards with 16 touchdowns. At Mississippi State, Johnson appeared in 17 games with one start, accumulating five receptions for 26 yards. In 2025, he played in all 13 games and made his first career start against Texas on October 25, recording three receptions for 17 yards.
